No Layton 2 Spoilers

Mon Sep 21, 2009, 4:56 PM
"Layton's so polite that he borders on passive-aggressive."
I lol'd SO hard when I read that on a GameFAQs forum.

Also, critical thinking is still the key to success.
Please observe.
When Layton and Luke recieve the tea set, it is quite apparent that they only have two teacups. One is orange-rimmed for Layton, and the other blue-rimmed for Luke. Also remember that Layton goes around brewing tea for complete strangers for them to drink. With only two cups and a teapot, and not wanting to risk Luke catching the H1N1 virus because, as a child, he has fewer immunities than the Professor, I can only come to one conclusion.
Layton offers his own teacup to strangers for them to drink from.

And now, to test my theory. Hah! Wonderful!

LAYTON. BREW ME SOME TEA PLZ.

  • Mood: Wow!

Thank you for posting a spoiler-free entry. =3 The game hasn't come out in England yet so I'm worried about clicking on any links that have 'Layton' on them. XD

He's so nice to let us strangers pass our germs on to him. :iconimhappyplz:

And I'm so stealing that quote. >3

Face it Zane, it's anime--even with 4Kids to protect you, sooner or later there'll be tentacles.

Uhm, let's see... there are 12 fictional tea blends that you can make in the game...

Here's what I remember off hand-
"Cherry Boost", "Dream Spice", "Root Remedy", "Classic Belle", "Oasis Berry", and "Floor Cleaner".

Of course, you only brew floor cleaner when you mess up. But Layton does say one of the bad teas looks like floor cleaner.

That's all I can remember. I've let you down, Professor.

Dude, yeah, totally don't. I actually had some plot half-spoiled for me while I was in the middle of the game, but I was happy to know that the game's major secrets were still all kept hidden from me by the time I finished it. Actually, the stuff that was revealed to me was more in the "And the plot thickens!" segment of the game, when more questions than answers were cropping up.

But the fact that I was spoiled was my fault. D= I got a crush on the blonde guy on the front cover and I had to go research him because I didn't even know his name. :noes:

I was more thinking that Layton was so nice to pass his germs onto us. OH HO HO HO.

And which quote? The passive aggressive one? It's so true though, dude.
